An Intimate Evening with Josh Ritter

Caring Beyond’s latest event was a spectacular success!

We raised over $20,000 during our evening together.

On Saturday, August 26th, we welcomed the amazingly talented singer, songwriter, and best-selling author Josh Ritter to 3S ArtSpace!

Praise for Josh Ritter: “Josh Ritter remains at the top of his game two decades into a highlight-strewn career. He’d be forgiven for loosening his grip, but his hand has never felt surer.” – NPR Music

“Harking back to Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and maybe a little Mark Knopfler, Mr. Ritter has always been a slinger of serious ideas and high-flown imagery.” – The New York Times

“Mysterious, melancholy, melodic…and those are only the M’s.” — Stephen King in Entertainment Weekly

Josh Ritter, renowned singer, songwriter, musician, artist, and best-selling author, released his anticipated new album, Spectral Lines, on April 28 via Thirty Tigers. Ritter has released ten studio albums, including 2019’s widely acclaimed Fever Breaks, praised by NPR Music: “He remains a hydrant of ideas while embodying an endless capacity for empathy and indignation, often within a single song.”

In addition to his music career, Ritter is a national best-selling author with two novels: The Great Glorious Goddamn of It All (2021) and Bright’s Passage (2011). Stephen King wrote in The New York Times Book Review that Bright’s Passage “shines with a compressed lyricism that recalls Ray Bradbury in his prime…This is the work of a gifted novelist.”

About the album Spectral Lines (released 4/28): Josh Ritter’s album, Spectral Lines, explores the vastness of space and the search for universal experiences through ten atmospheric and impressionistic songs. Recorded with longtime collaborator Sam Kassirer, the album is full of wonder and light, delving into themes of love, devotion, and connection.
